What is the difference between a pole tent and a frame tent?

A pole tent relies on center poles in the middle of the tent as well as ropes and stakes that are driven into the ground around the outside of the tent. Frame tents can be installed with water barrels on surfaces that prohibit stakes and do not have poles down the center. 

Can I set the tent up myself?

No, for liability and safety reasons – all tents MUST be installed by ALLIED TENT trained personnel

How do I determine what size tent I need for my event?

ALLIED TENT is happy to discuss with you your needs and help you determine what size you need for your event but here are some general guidelines.

  • Standing Room – 5 sqft per guest
  • Chairs Only – 7 sqft per guest
  • Chairs and Tables – 10 sqft per guest

For example, if you have 160 guests sitting at Tables you need a 1600 sqft tent.

To determine the square footage of a tent just multiply to length by the width; for example a 40’x40’ tent would be 1600sf of space. Don’t forget to add additional space if you plan to include things like food, a DJ, stage or dance floor, etc. 

Does the tent come with side walls?

Our base price only includes the tent itself, side walls can be added for an additional charge.

Do you rent tables and chairs?

Yes, we can provide tables and chairs for you event along with tent lighting, stages, dancefloors and more. Ask you tent coordinator about all the options we have for your event and additional costs. 

How can I get an exact estimate for the tent I need?

You can call our tent coordinator at 405-721-5900 or request a quote from our website. We will send you a written estimate and answer any questions you may have. 

How soon do I need to book my tent?

We always recommend a 48 hour minimum notice for booking to ensure that the equipment you want is available and can be installed on your desired date. Which gives us adequate time to inform OKIE for them to mark area. 

What is required to reserve a tent?

After you accept the estimate we will send over the paperwork. In order to reserve your equipment we must have all the paperwork completed and returned along with a 50% deposit with the balance due PRIOR to the setup day. 

What do I need to do before ALLIED TENT arrives for setup?

Grass should be mowed and you should notify the utility companies and have them mark for underground lines prior to setup day. ALLIED TENT will obtain the required permits.

What if the tent looks loose or the sides start flapping after you install it?

DO NOT adjust any components of the tent yourself. Notify ALLIED TENT immediately and we will send someone out to correct any problems. 

Can you set up tents on concrete or asphalt?

Yes, we drill through the concrete to properly secure your tent for an additional cost then backfill the holes after the tent is removed. If we CANNOT drill, a frame tent can be used with water barrels as an alternative.

What is your cancellation policy?

If a reservation has already been placed and a deposit paid we will refund the deposit up to 30 days prior to the setup date. If you cancel less than 30 days prior to setup date we can credit your deposit towards another event. Once the equipment is delivered and setup we will not issue refunds or credits as the labor has already been performed.
